Telemedicine

This program intends to explain the general risks associated with telemedicine that could occur in any state. It will define telemedicine, identify the most common risks associated with it, evaluate various risk reduction strategies, and assist the provider to determine readiness for the introduction of telemedicine into a healthcare practice. The presenter also will outline a step-by-step process on how to conduct and document a telemedicine visit.
